about
Jack Pishkur comes from a line of master craftsmen. Both his European-trained grandfather and father worked with precious metals and gem stones as jewelers. Jack’s father worked for Tiffany and Co. in New York City, bringing the ideas of noted designers to fruition. Jack learned much of his precise analysis of a project’s requirements and execution from them. He has worked more than three decades with plaster and metal bringing back the work of past designers and craftsmen, often from near oblivion. Oheka Castle, the Alton B. Parker library, and the Payne Mansion (now owned by Marist College), are just a few of the historic interiors and/or exteriors that have benefitted from Jack’s attention, not to mention hundreds of homes and businesses throughout the tri-state area.
